- If I should pass on would my family be able to live at there present comfort?
- If my wife should pass on would I be able to care for my children or hire some help to assist me?
- If I should pass on would my partner be able to put my children through post secondary education?
- If my income is gone what could my partner be able to afford for a mortgage payment?
- If I change jobs and the insurance I have at present is terminated how much would I be covered for later on when I am older?
The insurance you have at your present job or jobs can be efficient if you stay with that employer. With Mortgage Life insurance and disability you can port over to another property if you need to so your insurance with not collapse.
For Disability Insurance you must ask these questions:
- If I was disable for more than 60 days do I have enough insurance with my present employer to meet all my obligations?
- What is my current disability insurance do I have? What is my current obligations that I have to meet monthly?

Ask your Broker for more information on the insurances offered on your mortgage. You can get free quotes and then decide which one you want. The broker will need a copy of the insurance waivers on file if you are not taking the insurance they offered through the companies.
